Love to Save Online Charity Campaign (“The Campaign”) is organised by DiGi Telecommunications Sdn. Bhd. (201283-M) (“Organiser and/ or DiGi”) and is open to all individuals residing in Malaysia with a valid email address (“Participant”).
The duration of the Campaign is from 1 June 2009 (starts at 12.00am) until 30 June 2009 (ends at 11.59pm) or any other such duration as the Organiser may determine (“Campaign Period”).
Mechanics of the Campaign:
The mission of this Campaign is to raise RM150,000.00 in 30 days through online click-support
The amount is not the actual monetary donations from the public
To participate, Participants need to register with the necessary details as required on www.lovetosave.com.my
Participants can choose who they want to support from a list of 14 predetermined charities
Participants can choose to support a particular charity via its Public Group or Participants can support various Personal Groups (set-up by individual supporters for the various charities)
DiGi pledges to donate RM5 per click, until the target raising of RM150,000.00 is reached
The minimum donation to a charity is RM1,000.00
The maximum donation to a charity is RM50,000.00, so the maximum clicks in support of a charity is 10,000
The total amount given to any charity will be a cumulative of the total number of supporters within the Public Group and all of the Personal Groups (that’s aligned to that particular charity)
All decisions made and the donations made to charities shall be final, conclusive and no further correspondence shall be entertained.
The Organiser reserves the right to disqualify any participation by the Participants should the Organiser decide that there have been any form of abuse on the part of the Participant
The Organiser reserves the right to withhold the donations aforementioned at the Organiser’s sole and absolute discretion should the Charities be found to be ineligible or if there are any fraud cases detected before the donations are handed over and/or delivered to the Charities.
The Organiser reserves the right to change, amend and/or vary the Campaign mechanics, donations, and these Terms and Conditions at the Organiser’s sole discretion without giving any prior notice.
Charity organizations must sign and return any Release of Liability / Donations Acceptance Form presented (if any). Failure to do so may result in disqualification and the selection of an alternate Charity.
The Organiser does not warrant that the Campaign shall be uninterruptible and/or error free. By participating in the Campaign, the Participant hereby acknowledges and irrevocably agrees that the Organiser shall not in any manner whatsoever be liable for any interruption and/or any error arising from the Campaign.
The Organiser reserves the sole and absolute right to alter or terminate this Campaign or any part thereof without giving any prior notice and no compensation in cash or in kind shall be given.
The Organiser reserves the sole and absolute right to reject a redemption that is deemed ineligible for the Campaign.
The Organiser reserves the sole and absolute right to substitute the donations with an item of equal value without giving prior notice.
The Organiser reserves the sole and absolute right to use the information or publish any related matter to this Campaign including but not limited to the Charity’s names and photographs for any purpose whatsoever.
In no event shall the Organiser be liable for any loss or damage (including without limitation loss of income, profits or goodwill, direct or indirect, incidental, consequential, exemplary, punitive or special damages of any party including third parties) howsoever arising whether in contract, tort, negligence or otherwise, in connection with the Campaign and/or the donations, even if the Organiser have been advised of the possibility of such damages in advance, and all such damages are expressly excluded.
By participating in this Campaign, the Participant and the Charities hereby agree and irrevocably and unconditionally undertake to fully absolve the Organiser of all liabilities and agree to indemnify the Organiser (on full indemnity basis) nor hold the Organiser harmless against any claim by any third party and against any loss, damage, cost or expense (including solicitors’fees and cost) that the Organiser may suffer or incur as a result of or in connection with the Campaign and the Charities.
All eligible Participants agree to be bound by the official rules and regulations and decisions of the Organiser.
All entries of this Campaign shall become the property of the Organiser.
All other terms and conditions governing the use of any of the Organiser’s mobile telecommunication services in relation to the utilization of the Campaign shall apply herein.
The terms and conditions of the Campaign appearing on www.lovetosave.com.my will take precedence over all other terms and conditions appearing elsewhere.
